Women’s Royal Rumble to starts things off with number 1 Iyo Sky & number 2 Liv Morgan who are two of best wrestlers in the world right now to open this match. The blue lighting & production was of great real high quality from WWE & the countdowns always brings hype & WWE had stats of the Rumble from active to eliminated & next entrant, which was a great touch & 3rd entrant was a surprise in NXTs Roxanne Perez. 4th entrant was the Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria. 5th entrant was United States Champion Chelsea Green who was brilliant in this Rumble brought plenty of fun & took some hard bumps. Number 6 was B Fab who came out to a dead crowd. No eliminations so far but it’s been good start to the Rumble. Entrant number 7 was Ivy Nile who came out to the You Suck Chant & I loved how she ran to the ring as always like the run from wrestlers in Rumble.
Women number 8 was Zoey Stark who came in explosive, but still no eliminations even though Chelsea looked like she was about to go. Another NXT star is entrant number 9 in Lash Legend who was cleaning house showing plenty of power. Chelsea Green throws out B Fab to a huge cheer from the crowd. Next up was the EST Bianca Belair who came in with a high flying crossbody to Chelsea.
Number 11 was Shayne Baszler who came to aid Zoey & both them working together. Ivy Nile launches Lyra out the ring which was a pretty poor showing from the Intercontinental Champion. Entrant number 12 was last year’s winner Bayley who went straight for Roxanne as they are in a feud. Iyo & Bayley go face to face with good pop from the crowd but Pure Fusion Collective attacked both, then the 3rd member of the faction in Sonya Deville came out at number 13. Next up was number 14 Maxxine Dupri who got into it with Ivy Nile & then kicks Ivy out & eliminates her but Pure Fusion Collective dump Maxxine out. Number 15 was my personal favourite to win in Naomi. Bayley Iyo & Bianca throw out Pure Fusion Collective at the same time.
We half way through with the entrants & so far so good in this Rumble.
The 16th woman to enter was Jaida Parker from NXT. Liv & Iyo are still in the Rumble! Chelsea Green eliminates Lash Legend and then gets back up from Number 17 her secret service helper Piper Niven.
Chelsea Green is leading the eliminations but gets knocked off the apron by Piper Niven which brought a massive reaction from the fans. Number 18 is Natalya who’s been part of every Rumble who nails Bayley with a discus clothesline. The 19th entrant to a big cheer was for TNAs Jordynne Grace who is now signed to WWE & she eliminated Jaida Parker.
20th entrant is Michin & 21st entrant to a massive pop was Alexa Bliss where the crowd lost there shit. Number 22 is Zelina Vega. Roxanne been in the ring for 41 minutes. Iyo & Liv are also still in the match. 23rd entrant was Candice LeRae & the ring is full of superstars. Tag Team Champions Bianca & Naomi are working well together but here comes Number 24 Stephanie Vaquer from NXT enters her first Rumble. Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus is number 25 and so far this Rumble is excellent. 26 entrant is Raquel Rodriguez who starts helping her partner in crime Liv Morgan where they both take out Natalya & then Alexa with Morgan hitting 2 code breakers to get rid of them.
Number 27 is the queen Charlotte Flair who gets a great reception by the fans & pyro in the entrance after a year being out who takes her time with her entrance & comes in chopping to get the crowd wooooooing! Flair knocks Michin off the apron to eliminate her & throws Piper Niven over the top rope. Entry number 28 is NXT Women’s Champion Giulia who gets into it with Iyo. Only 2 more entrants to go before the field is complete, Iyo & Morgan have been in the match for just over an hour with Giulia getting rid of Grace.
Entrant number 29 Nia Jax who comes out to some boos but that’s because she’s a baddy, & eliminates Zelina Vega without getting in the ring. Nia gets in the ring & locks eyes with Trish, who then turns around & eliminates Nias friend Candice LaRae but then Nia & Candice work together to get rid of Trish. Number 30 & last entrant to a great pop is Hall of Fame Nikki Bella & all the entrants gang up on Nia who shows her monster strength but there's too many of them who all work together.
Stephanie & Iyo battling on the apron with Roxanne, Bianca, Naomi & Raquel however Nia takes them all out by knocking them off the apron accept for Roxanne & Liv who escapes but still trading blows on the apron, Nia knocks Liv off & Liv is eliminated. Nia has 7 eliminations, Roxanne takes out Giulia
& she’s gone & Nia eliminates Bayley & Nikki Bella.
Final 3 is Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair & Roxanne Perez.
Charlotte & Roxanne work together to eliminate Nia but then Charlotte Flair boots Roxanne off the apron to win the Rumble! Charlotte is going to WrestleMania!
We get into the second match of night with the 2/3 falls match between Motor City Machine Guns & DIY. This was a dead match and if there’s any evidence that the tag team division in WWE is shit then this match ticks all the boxes. DIY take the first pin and have taken control of the match. Wade Barrett doing his hardest to try & make this match sound epic. Time to make a coffee as this match should have been put on the kick off show. Motor City get the pin & now it’s 1-1 using skull & bones finisher. To be fair action is hotting up a bit now with Sabin high flying & Ciampa taking control. Match going back & fourth picking up speed with good teamwork but the Street Profits turn up attack Motor City behind the refs back & DIY pick up the pin & win the match. Street Profits attack DIY after the match on hold up the WWE Tag Team belts, but because these teams have no managers to talk for them all teams involved had no great crowd reaction.
Third match on the card was for WWE Undisputed World Championship in a ladder match between Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens great video package with song by Papa Roach. Kevin Owens comes to ring holding the gold eagle wing belt talking smack & Cody is all business not much smiling & Cody & Kevin exchange words when in the ring. Both belts are hoisted up & one of the refs is wearing a camera attached to there ear to give fans that POV in the ring.
Alicia Taylor does the master of ceremonies, the bell rings & here we go! Both men look at each other & the crowd go nuts, both of men are trading punches & the match is starting out as good ole fashioned brawl taking it outside of the ring with Owens slamming Cody onto the first ladder & bits of the ladder has come off with Owens now using these parts as a weapon. Cody throws Owens into the crowd & match is now in stands with 70,000 fans in the stadium with Cody using a fans beer as a weapon to Owens & in return Owens pushes Cody into the camera.
Back at ringside with Cody on his knees with Owens kicking Cody & goes under the ring to pull a ladder out & sends Cody onto the ladder on the outside. Owens first to set up the ladder & starts to climb with Cody playing defensive & intercepting Owens. We now back on the outside & Owens talking shit to Cole.
Cody gets a step ladder rammed into his guts by Owens who is going to work on Cody however Cody now has the step ladder & gives Owens a receipt, but now the step ladder is back with Owens who throws the ladder at Cody then slams Cody on the step ladder. Cody trying to set up the large ladder in the ring & climbs the ladder holding on the belt but then Owens pulls of power bomb to send Cody to mat. Owens traps Cody under the ladder but Cody pushes ladder to knock Owens off balance & we back outside with Cody grabbing another ladder.
Cody snap suplexes Owens onto the ladder & Cody takes off a part of ladder to use as a weapon to blast Owens with, but Owens grabs the weapon & returns the punishment to Cody whacking him to the skull & then try’s to straggle him. 2 ladders are in the ring with Owens setting up the next plan & goes outside for another ladder. Owens is about package pile driver but Cody backdrops Owens onto the ladder. Cody try’s to climb ladder but Owens gets him & powerbombs Cody onto the ladder in the corner.
Owens gets to 2nd turnbuckle Cody meets him they throw some punches, Owens then uses a fisherman’s buster to. Cody through the ladder. Concerns over both men now as GM Aldis & Sami Zayn come to ring with officials to check on both men.
Owens gets to his feet try’s a stunner but Cody turns it into a cross roads, both men are outside& Cody banging Owens head onto announcers table then thrown into the ring post, Owens is busted open with Cody now has snapped & is a mad man. However Owens is a desperate man & his hit Cody with a low blow.
Cody recovers from Owens trying to put him into package pile driver on the announcers table & hits Owens with an Alabama Slammer from the announcers table through the ladder & Owens is done. Cody gets into the ring & unhooks both belts to win the match.
Owens is surrounded by officials as he still hasn’t moved with Cody taking the plaudits leaves the ring still angry & then comes back to stand on top of announcers behind Owens.
Next up is the Main Event Men’s Royal Rumble match & first entrant is Hall of Fame Rey Mysterio followed by number 2 Penta in his first ever Royal Rumble with this being a all star luchador opening to the match.
Penta & Rey exchange nice words in the ring the crowd on their feet for these two Mexican legends with both shaking hands & we get on the way with nearly both going over the top rope. Fast pace start & Penta goes over the top rope & it looks like both feet touched but was quickly dismissed by the commentary team saying only one foot touched & there was no replay. Number 3 is Chad Gable who gets the You Suck chants & as Gable has seemed to get help from Dirty Dom to learn the dark arts of lucha libre & this is a great start to the Rumble.
Entrant number 4 is him Carmelo Hayes to continue the fast pace start, Melo & Gable working together to beat up Penta & Rey but the alliance is ends very quickly & here comes number 5 Santos Escobar another pace wrestler hitting Rey with a 619 & then hitting Penta with Mexican destroyer. Rey recovers hits 619 to Santos & then all four turn on Gable as he tried to throw each of the superstars out. Number 6 Otis from the Alpha Academy who gets into with Gable with Gable hitting a German to Otis who gets straight back up.
The dogs are barking as number 7 is Bron Breakker who runs into ring & nails Melo with a spear & throws him out, Breakker is cleaning house & showing dominance by throwing Santos out. Superstar number 8 is Akita Tozawa who gets attacked by Melo who’s in a bad mood from getting eliminated. Official’s including GM Pearce take Tozawa backstage where we see Triple H telling internet star iShowSpeed to get out there to take Tozawa spot.
Speed is now in the Rumble & helps Breakker eliminate Otis & does a Ronaldo Suiiii celebration & a backflip but Breakker hits the ropes & spears the life out of Speed, who gets tossed out by Breakker to Otis who just tosses him over his head where Speed hits announcers table & onto the floor & is out. Entrant number 9 is Sheamus who gets hold of Gable then Breakker with the 10 beats but Penta nearly takes Sheamus out. Gable & Sheamus get into it but now number 10s music hits & it’s Jimmy Uso who’s going by the name of Big Jim.
Entrant 11 is Andrade & crowd is absolutely dead, Andrade has killed the Rumble at this stage but number 12 gets the crowd back into it with Jacob Fatu entering his first Rumble. Fatu & Penta lock eyes with Fatu hitting Penta but Rey gets involved where now Fatu has given a double Samoa drop to Rey & Penta. Fatu cleaning house & eliminates Gable, Rey & Andrade & we get a brief moment between Breakker & Fatu eyeing each other up before they get attacked. Number 13 is Ludwig Kaiser who doesn’t get in the ring but is assessing from outside, Kaiser gets involved where he attempts to throw Penta out but his plan backfires & Penta eliminates Kaiser.
14 entrant is The Miz in his 16th Rumble who nearly eliminates Breakker & gets into it with Penta & Fatu. Number 15 & with halfway in the Rumble to a big pop is TNA World Champion Joe Hendry in his first Royal Rumble match. Sheamus taking a break in the corner but then locks eyes with Fatu but here comes number 16 the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman to a massive pop & this Rumble is heating up! Roman spears Miz, Sheamus & Hendry throwing them out but both Breakker & Roman hit the ropes with Breakker spearing Roman, however Roman uses his veteran experience & throws Breakker out. Fatu eliminates Big Jim & crowd goes mental as it’s Roman & Fatu who lock eyes & go at it.
17th entrant is Drew McIntyre who’s marching to ring with a purpose, Drew & Fatu double teaming Roman. 18th entrant is Finn Balor to new music & gets into with Penta, Number 19 is the United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura who gets the Andrade treatment from the fans.
Penta hits Fatu with a Mexican destroyer & tries to do it Balor but Balor throws him out with Penta getting 41 minutes in in debut & now it’s number 20 Jey Uso who comes out to the fans Yeeting! Jey elimates Nakamura & entrant 21 is AJ Styles who gets a great reception & crowd are chanting his name until he runs into Fatu & Drew, but number 22 is Braun Strowman who is fuming & looking to do damage .
Strowman & Fatu are getting into it & Strowman picks up Fatu & dumps him out the ring with Fatu so angry he throws a chair towards Strowman who’s in the ring but here comes Big Game John Cena who is number 23 who manages to out smart Strowman & gets rid of him then Finn. It’s now Cena & Roman who lock eyes but now number 24 music hits & hits CM Punk!
Cena & Roman wait for Punk & crowd going nuts, but number 25s music hits & it’s Seth Freakin Rollins & now the crowd has lost it, Seth, Roman, Cena, Punk, AJ, Drew, Jey a all star list in the ring & here comes number 26 Dirty Dom Mysterio who hits frog splash to Cena & tries to hit Roman with 3 Amigos where Roman just Samoa dropped him.
Entrant number 27 is Sami Zayn who gets a great reception & Dirty Dom holding onto the bottom rope for life. Number 28 is Damien Priest who goes straight for Drew, Dirty Dom tries a 619 on Priest who gets up off the ropes & launches Dom out of the ring. Number 29 is LA Knight entering his 1st Rumble match. We get a Yeet vs Yeah trade off between Jey & Knight but Jey eliminates Sami by mistake with a super kick.
Last entrant, number 30 is Logan Paul who comes in with a double close line, Priest eliminates Drew with Knight trying to get rid of Logan who jumps from the ring apron to the announcers table & is still in the match with Knight now turning his attention to Priest & eliminates him. AJ styles takes out Knight, Logan jumps from the announcers table to the barricade onto the steel steps where AJ styles is on the apron looking to spring board into the ring to hit Seth but Logan takes him out mid flight & AJ is eliminated.
This could be anyone’s Rumble but Roman & Seth work together for a very brief moment & now we get Roman & Seth locking eyes & crowd are starting to go wild & both start trading punches but both men are near the ropes & both are hanging on with Punk taking both out & eliminating them but Logan comes behind Punk & eliminates Punk.
Final 3 is Logan Cena & Jey Uso but on the outside Seth curb stomps Roman & it’s brawl between Seth & Punk, Seth gets loose put his middle finger up to Heyman & nails Roman with another curb stomps but this time its on the steel steps. Officials separate Seth & Punk whilst Roman is lying on his back on the outside. Jey & Logan trading punches whilst Cena is resting in the corner.
Cena eliminates Logan & it’s down to Cena & Jey, the crowd is going crazy! Both are trading back & fourth tired punches, Cena hits Jey with shoulder charges & you can’t see me 5 knuckle shuffle, Jey trying to get Cena over the top rope but Cena fights back both men giving it everything with Jey hitting a spear. Jey hangs on as both are now on the apron trading tired blows. Cena picks Jey up on his shoulders but Jey slips off the shoulders back in the ring & pushes Cena off the apron on to floor.
Jey Uso wins with Cena giving him hug back in the ring to give him his flowers & now it Jey Uso going to WrestleMania!
